January 31, 2012

Welcome to Everyone

The month of January has really flown by!

Last Friday was a teacher in-service day giving our faculty and staff the opportunity for professional growth as educators. The Infant and Early Childhood teachers all attended a wonderful 2-day conference and the Kindergarten through 8th grade teachers visited other classical schools to observe teaching in the classroom and the various curriculum used. Everyone learned things that can be introduced into the classroom.

Important notes from your child's teacher are sent home weekly so be sure to read them as they contain important information about class activities and assignments.

Have a great week!

Catering For Kids Lunch Information

A few reminders regarding the school lunches:

Copies of the monthly lunch menu are sent home and are available in the school office. You are encouraged to circle the days you would like your child to have hot lunch, and return the menu to your child's teacher. If your child is absent on a day that you have selected lunch, be sure to call the school office by 8:30 a.m. so that your child's name can taken off of the lunch count, otherwise you will be charged for that lunch. Lunch counts must be provided to the kitchen at 9 a.m. every morning. Please note that last minute additions cannot be made after that time.
