Susan has our indoor simulator program fired up for the fall - no better way to safely take up the sport of boarding or to refine your skills! And... it's never too early to schedule a lesson on the snow.
We call the simulator our secret weapon for both skiing and snowboarding. You have to ski it to believe it. It's located in our indoor facility at the incredible Aspen Club & Spa.
Our snowboard program also features the complete line of Head demo boards and boots.

 ASPEN BLACK DIAMOND
Recently, a close friend introduced me to a new golf club manufacturer located in Aspen. I loved the brand name and the clubs were as unique and exquisite as the name. My friend Victor swears this new and unique brand of golf clubs has made playing golf easier   and more fun. As a PGA Pro I was equally amazed. The irons are all the same length, weight, and feel. Hitting a 4 iron is like hitting a wedge. The irons come in a Power head or a Hybrid head.The rest of the line is just as easy to hit with some far-out designs and concepts. I am excited to add Aspen Black Diamond golf clubs to our family at the Ski, Board, and Golf Doctors in the Aspen Club and Spa. Come in and meet the owner Joe Nedlin at our Aspen Black Diamond demo center in the Ski Doc's studio.

TRAVEL TIP - LUGGAGE
Please check with your air carrier when booking your reservations as skis and additional luggage are being taxed a heavy surcharge. Use of Head demo skis as part of a Gold Plan or Camp Plus program is a great way to minimize luggage charges when you join us in Aspen! AND if you use them, love them and buy them, Gorsuch will ship them home for free.

IN THE BOOK
 In all cases, the primary and first source for edging (creating an edge angle) is always the feet. Movement in the feet-either from side to side or edge to edge- creates a kinetic chain reaction up the body. The kinetic chain starting in the feet goes from the feet to the ankles, ankles to the knees, knees to hips, and hips to core. Try this in front of a mirror and watch it happen. From a tall, relaxed stance with feet about hip-width apart, slowly put both feet on edge like you would if you were skiing. Notice how your head naturally remains vertically in line above your feet but your hips are out to the side. Your body is angulated and it happened without thought. Wow, the Kinetic Chain-something that happens naturally in skiing-a wonderful thing!
