DC Fashion Week, 12th Season, was held February 15 -21, 2010. Fashion week featured designers from Thailand, Columbia, Peru, India, Mexico, Argentina, Serbia, Ghana, Cote d'Ivoire, Iran, Nigeria, Pakistan, and of course, the United States. Venues ranged from The Textile Museum, The Cultural Institute of Mexico, Mie N Yu Club, Crystal City Doubletree Hotel, with a fabulous culmination at La Maison Francaise Embassy of France.
Sunday night's show was exciting, exquisite and elegant. Photographers, videographers, bloggers, online magazines - all vying for that star shot. The make-up artists and hairstylists offered phenomenal looks. The designers reached the buyers and the audience was thoroughly entertained. Don't miss the next DC Fashion Week Event!
DC Fashion Week is the brainchild of Executive Director/Producer Ean Williams. DC Fashion Week is a partnership of independent fashion designers, producers and models. It was created to increase economic development in the area of fashion design, clothing merchandising and modeling, and to enhance the visibility of the nation's capital as a center of international fashion.
