This Week: So, What IS Balance?
We spend a lot of "eNews Tuesdays" talking in bits and pieces about living a balanced life with proper self care.
 
Today's issue pulls 10 principles together for a snapshot of what a balanced person might look like.  Here we go.
 
A balanced person is...
  1. Operating amid an intimate communion with God 24/7/365;
  2. Adopting a healthy respect for the role of balance and self care in serving strong;
  3. Flowing in proper rhythm between the "balcony" and "dance floor";
  4. Flowing in proper rhythm between work and rest;
  5. Having no single life area suffering below a level of acceptance;
  6. Operating within properly set boundaries/margin at least 80% of the day;
  7. Pursuing clearly set SMART goals and Themes;
  8. Following a properly defined diet and exercise routine, respecting personal medical and physical conditions;
  9. Enjoying a handful of friends to be real with (and no fear of being judged or condemned);
  10. Regularly practicing a well defined, well placed hobby.
