Greetings!

I always thank my God as I remember you in my prayers, because I hear about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints. I pray that you may be active in sharing your faith, so that you will have a full understanding of every good thing we have in Christ. Philemon 4-6

Have you ever had an experience that is so overwhelming that you don't even know where to begin to describe it?  That's just how Easter week was for me.  God challenged me, He surely stretched me, He exhausted me, and ultimately He blessed me immeasurably more than I could ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20) - praise Him!  From what I saw, you were blessed in your service too.

I had the pleasure of seeing our body of believers come together whether breaking stuff was their cup-of-tea or not - they were living out "it's not about me."  The benefit of setting "self" aside?  We were able to get into 7 schools in the Lucas, Allen & Wylie ISD's (approximately 4900 kids total), invited all those children/faculty to 4 nightly programs in which the gospel was shared & GOD moved!  We have record of a total of 112 people who wanted follow-up (prayer, counseling, led to Christ) following nightly programs, 21 first-time commitments & 65 recommitments were made.  Praise God!

I know I can never uncover all the layers of people who served so I hope you will accept this heartfelt "thank you" as praise to our Father while you lived out your faith.

During last week's staff meeting and in response to an email Pastor Joel received, he asked, "So, what's next?"  While we sat there with our mouths agape he asked again, "Really, so what's next?  We've tried doing nothing and we get nothing from it and we've done that for far too long."  Wow!  It made me wonder...what will be next?  How will God move?  How will He bring people to Himself?  How will the people of Grace respond?  I don't know what the next adventure might be, but I stand ready.  I hope you will stand with me.

Thanking God For You,

Power For Living

Joel Walters
How does the power for life become the power for living?  It was the Apostle Paul himself who said "As a result, I can really know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised him from the dead . . ." NLT Philippians 3:10.   Resurrection power becomes power for daily living when we choose to allow God's Spirit to direct us in all that we say and do.  ...more
Prayer
Following Ephesians 6:18 which says, "and pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests.  With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints."

Ministry
Ministry at GraceFamily in the park
I Corinthians 3:6-7 proclaims, My job was to plant the seed in your hearts, and Apollos watered it, but it was God, not we, who made it grow.  The ones who do the planting or watering aren't important, but God is important because He is the one who makes the seed grow.

What an amazing description of what God accomplished this month through the Power For Life team and the body of Grace!   ...more

Women's Ministries

Dear Women of Grace,

It is with joy that I  announce that Stacie O'Grady has accepted God's call to lead Women's Ministries at Grace.  Stacie has served faithfully with Women's Ministries leadership team  as God prepared her for this leadership position.  As Stacie served alongside me, I came to appreciate her great love for the Lord, for the women of Grace and our community.

Serving the women of Grace for the past three years has been a tremendous blessing.  The women of Grace are amazing, and have ministered to me in life-changing ways.  Thank you for allowing the love of God to flow through you!

In His Love,
Laura Hall
