With the Labor Day holiday behind us, it's time for fall festivals, football, and fun! We kick the season off right here in Bowling Green with the community's largest festival this weekend, U.S. Bank Balloons, Tunes & BBQ. Selected as one of this year's Fall Top Ten Festivals & Events in Kentucky by the KY Travel Industry Association, the 3-day celebration is one you don't want to miss. And why should you? It's FREE!

Kids can enjoy the carnival midway, inflatable fair, and tethered rides (weather permitting) all weekend plus a special Kid's Activity Tent and Mascot Mania on Thursday night. Friday evening welcomes the Balloon Glow and tunes from Kenton Bryant. Then on Saturday, it's the popular Hare and Hound race before the stage heats up with co-headliners Chuck Wicks and The Farm!

Proceeds from the carnival and inflatables benefit United Way of Southern Kentucky. Find a full schedule at the link below or call the hotline at 270-745-7532.

Ask anyone interested in fast cars about the LS engine and they'll very likely know the name Holley Performance Products. Not only does the Bowling Green-based company produce LS accessories and components, they also host the largest all-LS event in the country! Returning for its third year this weekend, LS Fest celebrates everything and anything powered by the incredible GM LS engine.

Spectators will see drag and autocross racing all weekend, the popular Engine Swap on Saturday morning, the up-and-coming Drift Challenge both Friday and Saturday, daily Speed Stop Challenges, and the ongoing Show-N-Shine Car Show with awards Sunday afternoon. This is the only event where all of these competitions take place at the same venue!

Daily admission is just $10 or $20 for all 3 days and children 16 and under are free. Click on the link below to learn more.
