Concerts in the Park
You know it's summertime in Bowling Green when the downtown parks become filled with live music! The popular Concerts in the Park Noon in June Series returns this week presented by BB&T and the Downtown Redevelopment Authority. Kicking things off for the year will be Mt. Victor Revue, a bluegrass band who was also a finalist in the recent Citizens First 'i love bg' Song Contest.
Bring a blanket or lawn chairs and enjoy your lunch break while listening to some great local talent! Also taking place at Fountain Square Park this weekend will be the June Second Saturdays street fair from 10am to 5pm. Another popular concert series, The Twilight Series, presented by the Southern KY Concert Band, returns Thursday night at 7pm at the WKU FAC Amphitheatre.
