Welcome to our weekly "What's Happening" email, designed to provide you with a glance at opportunities for an unbridled good time in the Bowling Green area.

There's an epidemic in Bowling Green, but it doesn't affect your health, just your attitude! We love Bowling Green, and because we feel so fortunate to live, work and play here, we have been busy spreading that positive message. Now it's 'i love bg' Week and time to shout it! A total of 46 businesses and organizations are celebrating by spreading the love in some form or fashion this week, and there are some fun events planned to help us commemorate even more!

Simply wear an 'i love bg' item or just mention it at numerous businesses to receive discounts, enter drawings, receive special offers and more all throughout the week at some locations or just on Saturday, 'i love bg' Day, at others.

Events include the 'i love bg' Idea House Shindig Thursday, an 'i love bg' Car Show Saturday, and 'i love bg' Night at the Ballpark Saturday with the players in special logo'd jerseys that will be auctioned off. The winner of the 'i love bg' Song Contest will perform live just before the fireworks display! Purchase tickets to the game using promo code ILOVEBG. Not only can you find great specials and discounts around town for 'i love bg' Week, but you can also bargain hunt your way across the state this weekend at the annual 400 Mile Sale. This four-day event kicks off Thursday and promises to be another year full of deals and steals with hundreds of yard sale locations. New this year is an extended route with sales now taking place in Paris, TN to kick off the trail from the southwest on Hwy 641.

Rockfield may be the place to be in the Bowling Green area with a huge collaborative sale at Rockfield Elementary, the IGA Crossroads across from the school, and more at Hoot 'n Nanny's and individual sites. Then head to Smiths Grove on Saturday or Sunday for its community-wide yard sale.
