Taste of Bowling Green
It would take you several months if not the entire year to try out all the great restaurants in the area. Instead of making the rounds, come to one place and sample them all this Thursday evening as the South Central Chapter of the Kentucky Restaurant Association hosts the annual Taste of Bowling Green benefiting The Dream Factory. You'll sample the best tastes from over 40 restaurant and beverage suppliers all for one price while supporting a great cause.
There will also be door prizes, a silent auction, plus entertainment for the culinary feast will be provided by Jon Crosby and the Rescue Blues. Tickets are $40 in advance available at Chuck's Liquor locations, Balloon-A-Gram, and Service One Credit Union locations, or at the door for $45. Help make the wish of a critically-ill child come true! Visit the site below or call 270-799-1529 for more information.

Live Theatre, Music and Dance Events
With the arrival of Broadway in Bowling Green tonight, it comes as no surprise that the area is loaded with opportunities to see live theatre, music and dance this week. Damn Yankees hits the brand new stage at the Southern KY Performing Arts Center tonight for a sold-out performance, but the WKU Department of Theatre & Dance offers an alternative with [title of show] & Hard Candy at the Gordon Wilson Lab Theatre tonight and tomorrow. Check out the new WKU Choral Hall on Tuesday for "with perhaps the exception of rhythm," a faculty recital with Mark Berry, or head out Wednesday for Two Sides Resounding with Dr. Liza Kelly.
This weekend, the Art Education Task Force presents The Hundred Dresses at WKU Van Meter Hall on Friday, and The Capitol Arts Alliance presents its 2nd Stage Production of Spring Awakenings Friday & Saturday. South Warren High School's spring musical, Crazy for You, as well as BG Junior High School's Beauty and the Beast, Jr. will take place all weekend, and on Sunday, the WKU Choirs Spring Concert will be at Van Meter Hall at 4pm. More information about all of these performances can be found by following the link below to our Events page.
