Lone Star Championship Rodeo
Grab the boots and kick up your heels, partner, for a wranglin' good time this weekend at the Lone Star Championship Rodeo. These cowboys and cowgirls put on a show the whole family will enjoy with events including bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, calf roping, steer wrestling, cowgirl's breakaway roping, barrel racing and bull riding. New this year will be specialty act Bert Davis, The Coppertown Clown. His 'Muttley Crew' of rescued dogs will wow you with their tricks.
The action begins Friday night at 8 pm, then continues Saturday with a 2 pm and 8 pm show, and finishes up Sunday with another 2 pm show. Admire the duds in the Best Dressed Cowboy & Cowgirl contest for kids 10 and under, and watch the antics of Rodeo Clown of the Year Mike Wentworth. General admission tickets are $14 and reserved seats are $18 with children under 3 free. Tickets can be purchased through the WKU Ag Expo Center by calling 270-745-2578 or visiting the link below.
