    Thursday- Sunday
    Our Town

Come in from the cold during the winter months and warm up to the area's community theatre troupes. The Public Theatre of Kentucky invites you to experience Our Town this weekend for a look at the lives of people living in a small, quintessentially American town. Written by Thorton Wilder, it was first produced in 1938 and received the Pulitzer Prize for Literature.

The story follows the small town of Grover's Corners through three acts: "Daily Life," "Love and Marriage," and "Death and Eternity." Narrated by a stage manager and performed with minimal props and sets, audiences follow the Webb and Gibbs families as their children fall in love, marry, and eventually-in one of the most famous scenes in American theatre-die.

Performances run for the next three weekends on Thursday at 7pm, Friday-Saturday at 8pm, and Sunday at 3pm. Call 270-781-6233 or visit the link below for ticket information.

    Six Dollar Sundays

Taking the whole clan to visit a museum or cave can get pretty costly, so five area attractions have teamed up to offer Six Dollar Sundays this winter. Mention the promotion at the participating locations and everyone in your party will receive the special discounted admission of just $6. In Bowling Green, enjoy the discount at the National Corvette Museum, Lost River Cave and the Historic Railpark and Train Museum.

Guests will enjoy the special traveling exhibit It's a Nano World on display at the National Corvette Museum in addition to more than 70 Corvettes on display. At the Railpark and Train Museum, visitors can view the Civil War and the Railroad exhibit and climb aboard real railcars while the mild temperature underground at Lost River Cave feels great on a blustery winter's day!

You can also take advantage of the discount at Diamond Caverns and Dinosaur World in Cave City. Call the BG Visitors Bureau at 270-782-0800 or the individual attractions for more information.
