Vets 'n Vettes
In celebration of Veteran's Day next week, the National Corvette Museum is hosting the 4th Annual Vets 'n Vettes event this weekend to honor both American soldiers and the American icon. Featuring road tours, special displays, military-themed movies, participation in the BG Veteran's Day Parade, a banquet, and more, this growing event means much more than simply getting together with old friends.
Thursday is dedicated to the American Warrior Recognition program where military personnel and their guests will be brought to the NCM by Fort Campbell and Fort Knox transportation to enjoy special tours, programs and rides in a Corvette! While all Corvettes are a source of American pride, this event also attracts enthusiasts who have given their cars bold paint schemes to honor those who have served our country.
Follow the link below for full registration and agenda information, or call the Museum at 270-781-7973.

The Ultimate ABBA Concert
If you're running around this week with the tune "Dancing Queen" popping up in your head, then it must be a sign that you need to see this weekend's Orchestra Kentucky performance of The Ultimate ABBA Concert featuring Abbacadabra! ABBA formed in Stockholm in 1970 and became one of the most commercially successful acts in the history of pop music, topping the charts worldwide from 1972 to 1982.
With their recent resurgence, responsible in part by the hugely popular live musical production and now the world wide release of Mamma Mia - The Movie, the music of ABBA is finding its way back into the hearts of listeners. The tribute band, Abbacadabra, promises to continue the momentum by performing 20 of the group's greatest hits in full ABBA fashion and flair, leaving the audience excited and melancholy... at the same time.
Ticket information can be found by following the link below or calling 270-846-2426.
