Ice Cream & a Moovie
Grab the kids and a blanket or the lawn chairs and head out to Chaney's Dairy Barn this weekend for Ice Cream & a Moovie. If you don't want to stand in the long lines and empty out your pockets for a movie in the theater, this is the place for you. It is completely kid friendly with some of the best movies the entertainment world has to offer. This weekend's movie is "Shrek Ever After", the final chapter in the Shrek saga.
Not only can you enjoy a great movie but you can enjoy some great food and Chaney's delicious, homemade ice cream. There are so many flavors and varieties you won't know which one to enjoy as you kick back during the movie. The best part, Ice Cream & a Moovie continues throughout the summer giving you lots of chances to see a great movie and try all the ice cream, so get mooving to Chaney's! 2011 Southern Kentucky Fair
It's that time of year again, time for the SOKY Fair and tons of fun all throughout the week! This Sunday's opening day festivities kick off with beauty pageants at the Warren Central Auditorium. Monday the fun starts with the lawn mower demolition derby where you can get down and dirty with your favorite lawn mower, then Tuesday night is the Compact Car Figure 8 race and a concert with the Lost River Cavemen at the race tracks.
Wednesday night welcomes the KTPA Tractor Pull and karaoke followed by Thursday's Compact Car Demolition Derby and KIC concert. Friday is the 1980 & Newer Demo Derby and music from BeyonDuplication while Saturday's final event is the Modified Truck Pulls and a concert by Salvage Town. See 4-H shows Monday- Wednesday and enjoy Inflatable City through Thursday. And don't forget about the carnival rides and food!
