Pontiac-Oakland Club International
A new event rolls into Bowling Green this week as we welcome the Pontiac-Oakland Club International Annual Convention to Sloan Convention Center today through Sunday. But aside from the seminars and club meetings, these muscle & classic car enthusiasts will take a turn on the strip at Beech Bend Raceway Friday and Saturday for the Inaugural POCI Pontiac Nationals.
This car show, drag & autocross event is open to the public with the World's Fastest Pontiac being crowned Saturday. But it's not just about speed... the World's Slowest Pontiac will also be determined at the Convention Center earlier in the week!
If you can't make it out to the raceway, these visitors will be enjoying our local Bowling Green entertainment at Friday night's Concerts in the Park. See many of the participating cars on display including several antique Oaklands and the Smokey & the Bandit semi trailer. For more information, call 417-737-1469 or visit the link below.
