Welcome to our weekly "What's Happening" email, designed to provide you with a glance at opportunities for an unbridled good time in the Bowling Green area.

Looking to break up the week with a little Wednesday entertainment? The BB&T Concerts in the Park Series will do just that with live music performed in Fountain Square Park every 'hump day' in the month of June. This week will feature the country sounds of Cotton Creek.

Perfect for a little lunch hour escape, the tunes get cranking at noon and food vendors are on sight so you can grab a snack while relaxing under the shade trees.

During the months of July and August, performances are put on in both Fountain Square and Circus Square Parks every Friday evening. The Warren County Public Library continues its WomenWrite speaker series this week with actress and author Harley Jane Kozak. You may know Harley Jane Kozak from her principal roles in the soaps Guiding Light and Santa Barbara as well as the movies Arachnophobia, When Harry Met Sally, and Parenthood.

Kozak has since turned her talents to writing and has written four novels: Dating Dead Men, Dating Is Murder: A Novel, Dead Ex, and A Date You Can't Refuse.
