Six Things that will Help Design your Best Life

Be creative! Dream big!

Others have done it, so can you.
  1. Choose the best for yourself
  2. Choose your friends wisely
  3. Choose to learn from others
  4. Choose your goals and dreams and put them on paper
  5. Choose to take action
  6. Choose to believe, believe, believe!
Full details below.

Six Things that will Help Design your Best Life

  1. Choose the best for yourself. Begin thinking what do I really want. Choose that and don't settle for second best. You're worth more than always putting yourself and your desires last.
  2. Choose your friends wisely. Your friends will be the second most important influence on your life. 'Birds of a feather flock together'. Who are you flying with? Do they build you up or tear you down? What do they add to your life? Are they positive or negative people? If not, honestly, don't water the plant of friendship any more by obligatory contact. Friendship requires time and energy to stay alive so if you keep feeding the plant it will stay alive. Select friends who continually champion your spirit, thoughts, and goals. When people are grouped together they become like minded and a group mentality tends to form. This facet of friendship can propel you forward exponentially if you're aligned with others who have similar aspirations. They become 'the wind beneath your wings' (thanks Bette).
  3. Choose to learn from others. Knowledge is power. Many people are ignorant about how simple it can be to make the changes they want in their lives. What are you currently reading? Will it add to your personal growth and ultimately add to your success. How have others achieved similar goals? Just about everything we think of right now has already been thought of in one form or another. Tap into what others have learned and find out how mentors have achieved success. This will save you valuable time and energy.
  4. Choose your goals and dreams and put them on paper. All my clients know just how important this is; particularly those who have done the Dare to be Your Best 12 week program. They have literally written down 100's of things they want to happen in their lives. Even during the program things 'magically' begin to appear. Some have been able to genuinely identify over 100 that have now actually come to pass. Writing down your goals and dreams begins to create images within the subconscious mind. Without that impression nothing can shift. Write vividly about your goals and desires when you first think of them. Describe in detail what you want, what it feels like to have achieved it, and what lessons you learned along the way. This element is most effective when it's written in the present tense before even attempting the goal. If you don't believe this is important then read about John Goddard, who sat down at the age of 15 and wrote down 127 goals on his "Life List" of all the things he wanted to experience in this world. Now, nearly six decades later, he has accomplished 109 of the items on his list, chronicling many of his adventures in places like National Geographic, Life, and Reader's Digest.
  5. Choose to take action. Take action. Any action. Do something. Do anything that will take you one step closer no matter how small, it's a step. The first step may be researching, talking with someone, booking a course, buying a book, booking a session with a coach. Thinking without action keeps you stuck. Don't get stuck in analysis paralysis. Put arms and legs on your thoughts.
  6. Choose to believe, believe, believe! I could spend an entire email talking about the power of belief and of faith. I've had sooooooooo many things happen in my life because I chose to hold on to my belief and resist the doubts and everyone who told why it couldn't happen. Believing in your success and abilities brings awareness to the forefront of your mind.

Have a good week.

During the course of the 12-week "Dare to Be Your Best" program, I experienced a sustained, cumulative positive effect on my growth as an integrated personality.  Anthony's coaching has given me clarity of purpose. It also allowed me to focus on understanding myself (my strengths and weakness, my limitations and my gifts). I gained the insight to take action in my own and others' best interests.  I had already achieved 121 of my dreams/goals by the end of the program.   It has been a truly productive period at this transitional time in my life.  I would most highly recommend PSA coaching to anyone interested in targeted growth in any and all aspects of life. It was well worth the investment of my time and effort to set my course for the next decade and the rest of my life as well.
