Greetings!
What happens when the buzz is gone, you've lost
your mojo or the passion has died?
It could be a job you were once very passionate
about. A company you loved working for. -
A relationship you were once really into. -
A career that seemed more like a vocation than a
job. A project that once highly motivated you.
But now it
all seems like hard work.
We all experience this at some point in our lives
but why?
Read more below.

I'm not enjoying it any more!
Three Reasons
There is a
conflict with our personal value system
For example the job/career initially gave us
challenge or it was a stimulating learning environment. That no longer
exists. We once felt valued by the company or our boss but it seems like
the corporate giant has sucked us up and we are no more than a cog in the
wheel.
We are burnt
out
Life these days can be very demanding. Too many
hours at the office. Additional demands upon at home or in the relationship.
Renovations, buying a new home, raising a family, illness, all deplete us of
our emotional reserves. You know you are burnt out when you find yourself angry
or resentful a lot. Or you may be emotional. These are the signs telling you
something is drastically wrong.
Life
transition
Mid-life crisis is a term many of us would rather not
use, which actually can be a part of the problem. Denial. Mid-life is a time of
transition and evaluation. What happened to the goals and dreams for my life?
Will they ever actually happen?
Four Things To Do
1.
Get clear
about what you really do want. Your subconscious value system is what you
use to measure you success, happiness and fulfilment. If you don't know exactly
what that is then you are flying blind and left with a feeling of unease,
unhappiness or even depression.
2. Stop tolerating. Tolerating things will
never make you happy. It leaves you once again with resentments which are like
a power drain on your life.
3. Stop whinging. If we are in one of
these situations we probably speak to lots of people about. Your negative
mindset is often verbalised. Don't keep talking about how bad things are. Do
something about it!
4. Make a decision. You have three options.
·
Accept.
One is that you can remain in the situation and instead of tolerating you
accept that this is the way things are and will not change for the time being
or ever.
·
Change.
The second is the commitment and courage to change the situation. If it is
really important to you than its worth the effort in the long run
·
Leave
the situation. Some things or people will not change and for us to remain there
will only be detrimental to us and those around us. Get out!

Testimonial
After a friend forwarded Anthony's
newsletter to me, I considered professional coaching with him for nearly a year but
my procrastination got in the way once again!
I was very unhappy in my job and also wanted to learn how to stop the procrastinating
that was affecting ALL areas of my life. Finally I decided that I wanted the
best for myself so I would go to the best!
This was a fantastic decision as meeting Anthony and doing the program was a
real turning point for me.
I clarified my values and beliefs and then
was able to identify what wasn't serving me in other areas in my life and not
just in my job. I learnt how to break my bad habits,
especially procrastination, how to set goals and really stick to them and
how to focus on what I wanted for myself. Things have shifted and it's
been a real case of out with the out of date and in with the
new!
Anthony's gift is that he makes you to feel completely comfortable during
the process, he wisely gives you a nudge if you need one and most importantly
he makes it fun!
Finally, I read Anthony's autobiography
which was incredibly inspiring. I was so tired at work that week as I couldn't
put it down at night! It's a real page turner and it inspired me to
just be the person I am and want to be and no longer put it off.
Having now experienced the benefits of coaching for myself, I would recommend
anyone who wants the best for themselves to use Anthony as your coach. It's an
investment worth every cent and more! I now wish I'd taken up 12 months earlier .
It
seems like I wasted a year hoping and waiting for things to change but now
realise it was up to me to make the changes.
I'm now more confident and
courageous and made the changes I'd spent too long just thinking about.
In the words of the Nike advertisement. JUST DO IT!
