THE LUCKY PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD

Some people consider that the most successful people on this planet are, by and large, a lucky lot. Time after time, Lady Luck always seems to smile their direction as they move from one success to another. How does that happen?

Others sit on the sidelines and complain that it's not fair for these people to have so much luck. They never realize that they could be just as lucky if they would simply stop complaining and begin making the most the opportunities that exist around them.Complaining, envy and jealousy are never attractive qualities when compared to an optimistic outlook. Not only do they turn people off, the negativity is like a black hole that sucks more of what they don't want into their lives.

Successful people create their own luck. Ray Kroc, who made McDonald's the largest fast food company in the world, hit the nail on the head when he said, "Luck is a dividend of sweat. The more you sweat, the luckier you get."

Thomas Jefferson said, "I am a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I work the more I have of it."  If people want to get lucky, rather than moan and groan about the way things are, they need to do something positive to change it.

Rarely, if ever, is there such a thing as an overnight success. People often assume that when people when competitions such as America, Britain or Australia Has Talent. Forty eight year old Susan Boyle, some might consider is overnight success, but she has been singing for years, took a risk and had the courage to enter the competition. The only thing that has really changed is the number of people who now know her by name through the 100 million hits on youtube . She's been preparing for that opportunity for years. Luck is where preparation meets opportunity.

Once we take control of our lives and accept complete responsibility for your actions, we will see things change and improve.  As your hard work begins to pay off and you start getting more and more of life's lucky breaks, you can hold your head high knowing full well that you made your own luck in life.

PS: After you have invested blood, sweat and tears to build the life you've always imagined, don't be surprised if some people write off your hard earned success as some sort of luck of the draw. It makes them feel better.
