Greetings!
Following
on from my previous newsletter (see below) here is the first instalment of 15
things I've learnt about human beings and success in 3,500 hours.
Anything is possible. That's quite a statement
isn't it? It's been made by numerous religious leaders over the centuries as
well as often heard in an almost cliché fashion in 1,000's personal development
books and multitudes of seminars around the world. But how true is that 'anything is possible'?
If you are doubting
the validity of that statement then you are probably experiencing the
implications of that in your life and functioning at lower percentage than you
are capable of. Possibly only 30-40%. How do I know this? My own personal
experience and working with over 350 individuals tells me this is true. I have clients all
around Australia
and different parts of the world who were up for the challenge and are
following their dreams and doing what others said could never happen.
When you
think of something to do in your life that is beyond your current view of possibilities
then there will be two voices that could disempower you to move into that. One is the
inner voice and the other is the voices of friends, family or work colleagues
who have a limited view of your potential. You will have to evaluate which is
going to be the most powerful influence.
- Your
new thought
- The
inner voice that doubts your potential to create whatever you desire
- The
voices of others who think you are crazy
I'm
currently working on several things people told me were impossible. One of
those things actually became a reality this month. People told me it would be
impossible to get my autobiography into the US
& UK
markets. 'Too many people trying',
'No-one knows who you are', 'Too big a market'. 'No one will listen to you',
I was told. Occasionally the inner voice would chime in 'Give up. It's not going to happen.'
But I've
never given up and have continued to work towards that goal. I choose to
believe differently and have literally kept the dream alive and done what I can
to make that happen. This month, my autobiography, 'A Life of Unlearning' goes on sale on amazon.com. I have too many
other numerous examples in my life to mention here that miracles/magic happens.
And it has always been associated with my willingness to believe and my
response to the inner voice and the voices of others.
Napoleon
Hill, the well known father of the personal development movement whose book 'Think & Grow Rich' has inspired many
people to success and achieving what others considered impossible said, "What
the mind of man can conceive and believe, It can achieve."
Is there something you want to be,
do or have that you or others might consider impossible? I wonder if it is?

It's never too late
2007 is coming to an end. Have you considered the
possibility of being coached this year but somehow didn't get around to it?
Well it's not too late. In fact, if you act now you will have the best of both
worlds. We can cover off all the foundational stuff and get you clear on your
values and beliefs then in the New Year you can start the year running with a
new vision and goals. Book your complimentary session to find out how now.
