Super Simple Short Socks.  Wednesdays, Feb. 15 & 22, 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Fee:  $40.  Learn to knit these shorties on 2 circular needles vs. dpns.  Turn your heel and graph your toe...we'll teach you how!  Dowload free pattern from Ravelry and select one of our oh-so-cool sock yarns (that's the hard part)!  Preregistration required.  10% off yarn purchased for class.

Esporofits Gloves.  Thursdays, Feb. 16 & 23, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.  Fee: $40.   Knit these enchanting gloves, perfect to wear for a Spring luncheon (been watching too much Downton Abbey!). Learn how to knit a picot edge, make bobbles, and knit faggoting.  Purchase pattern on Ravelry and come to class prepared to knit in the round on size 3 dpns.  Choose one of our sparkly or plain mohair or knit with Grinning Cat'sawesome sock yarn.  For intermediate knitters.  Preregistration required. 10% off yarn purchased for in-class use.

Owl Sighting!  Leave it to judipatuti to sight this awesome cotton/linen print motif with owls, each with it's own distinct personality.  This fabric is going fast so don't wait on this one!

Garden View ShawletteGarden View Shawlette.  Saturdays, Feb.
18 & 25, 1-3 p.m.  Fee:  $40.  Learn to knit this lovely Spring shawlette by reading a charted pattern and never faint at the sight of symbols again!  Download free pattern and bring it to class. Sweater works beautifully in this pattern.  Register by February 10 and we'll order any color you want or select from our existing collection. For intermediate knitters.  Preregistration required.  10% off yarns purchased for in-class use.

Sunday, Feb. 19, 12-4 p.m., Instruction Fee: $40.

There's cute, and then there's Really Cute!  Carnaby Rabbit is irresistible and although we may be pushing Spring a titch, he doesn't have to wait 'til the crocus's pop up to be knit.  Purchase pattern on Ravelry and come ready to knit in pettable Sport Weight. Must know how to knit and purl with ease.  Preregistration required.  10% off yarn purchased for in-class use.

BASIC SKILLS CLASSES:
Beginning Knit:  Thursday, Feb. 9, 6:30-8:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 18, 11-1 p.m, or Tuesday, Feb. 21, 6:30-8:30 p.m.  Instruction Fee:  $20.  Learn the knit stitch by making a scarf.  Needles and yarns offered at 10% off for in-class use.  Only yarns purchased at the Grove are allowed.  Prepayment required.

 

Private Lessons:  Private knitting, crochet, and sewing lessons are always available at the Grove for $25 per hour.  Just call 619-284-7684 to arrange a convenient time.
Susan's Work Days:  If you need expert knitting advise or help selecting yarns, I would love to be of assistance.  I plan on being in the shop at least these days:  Feb 1, 9-15, 23-29 (Mondays excluded).   I am available to assist you with yarn and patterns purchases on my day off at no charge.  Just call the shop at 619-284-7684 to schedule an appointment.  SHOP HOURS:  Open Tuesday thru Saturday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., noon to 5:00 p.m. on Sundays, closed Mondays.
