Hello ,
I know we generally only send one email a week, but this week is special. We have three events in December and they are all selling out fast! I am really excited about these events because they promise to bring new opportunities to connect with other professionals and we are helping to make some kids holidays brighter...it is a win-win-win!
Here is how it will work: When you register for any (or all) of the December events, you will have two options. You can choose to register for free. If you choose this option, we hope you will bring one of the items from the non-profit's wish-list on the event registration page. You can also choose to register and make a cash donation online instead of bringing a gift. You choose the donation amount. We will collect the money and pass on 100% of your donation to the charity.
A Special Thank You: I have to extend a very special "thank you" to the Mike Bavuso and Terry Cappuccio from Big Foot Moving and Storage for offering to transport the toys and gifts that are donated at each event. Big Foot Moving is a local, licensed and insured moving company. Their skilled professionals are reliable, trustworthy, courteous, athletic, attentive to your needs, and able to ensure the safe delivery of your possessions to their new destination. Visit them online at http://www.bigfootmoving.com.
The Charities We have partnered with two amazing organizations for our first annual Networking Gift Drive.
The Boys & Girls Clubs is a 501(c)3 whose mission is to help young people, especially those who need us most, build strong character and realize their full potential as responsible citizens and leaders.
They do this by providing: a safe haven filled with hope and opportunity, ongoing relationships with caring adults, life-enhancing programs. They serve more than 14,000 children and teens, ages 6 to 18, in their Clubs, and through their programs and partnerships.
The Home for Little Wanderers is a nationally renowned, private, non-profit child and family service agency. It has been part of the Massachusetts landscape for over 200 years, making it the oldest agency of its kind in the nation and one of the largest in New England. Originally founded as a orphanage in 1799 (see history for more details), The Home today plays a leadership role in delivering services to thousands of children and families each year through a system of residential, community-based and prevention programs, direct care services, and advocacy.
Their mission is to ensure the healthy emotional, mental, and social development of children at risk, their families, and communities. The Home's work is guided by a belief in the right of all children to be safe, nurtured and developed to reach their full potential. Although seemingly insurmountable obstacles are sometimes placed in their way, children's resilience combined with the support of caring adults can make anything possible.

| Our Newsletter Is A Huge Success and Opportunity For Your Business!
The feedback from the first issue of the Networked Events Inner Circle
newsletter has been very positive. Thank you to everyone who has sent
in their feedback. As always, I really appreciate your insight and
input.
If you did not receive your copy of the newsletter (in the mail, not
email), please confirm that we have your mailing address in our
database. We have included the information we have on file for you below - If this information is incorrect, you can follow the instructions to update it.
For those of you (about 1k of you) who did receive the first issue of
the newsletter, you know that this newsletter is all about content created and submitted by you.
I want this newsletter to be another tool to help you grow your
business, introduce your business to new people, etc. That means I want
you to submit content for the newsletter.
Where else can you put your message in front of 1k eyes for free?
Here is what we are looking for:
1. Informational Articles - The articles should be of general interest and they can't be a big sales letter or offer. For example, Frank Aubuchon
submitted a great article about the economy and the effect it is having
on hiring, etc. This was perfect. If you want to submit and article, it
should be 300-500 words and it should include a "about the author" box
with your contact info, etc. If possible, I would like to be able to
include a photo of the author, so send a high-res headshot if you have
one.
2. Coupons or Special Offers - I would like to include some
special coupons and offers in the Newsletter. These should be offers
that are not publicly available. Cambridge Art & Frame submitted a
offer that will get anyone with our newsletter 20% off their framing
purchase. This is perfect.
3. Company news & announcements - Are you opening a new
office, hiring a new CEO, expanding operations, launching new products
or services, etc. If you have news to share with the community, send it
in.
4. BIO's / Featured Members - Every month we are going to
feature at least one "member". All you need to do is have a profile on
NetworkedEvents.com and express your interest via email. The bio is
going to include everything on their Networked Events profile and we
are going to pull the content directly from the website.
5. Other ideas - I am open to other ideas, so please feel free to share.
How To Submit Something To The Newsletter
If you have questions or have something ready to submit to the
newsletter, just send it to info@networkedevents.com.
Submission Deadlines
Newsletter submissions are due by the 15th of the month. However, this month (November 2009) you have until November 20th to submit items for the December newsletter.
