Great deal on junior herdsire!
Avatar's Grayson
ARI # 30691148
A son of the multiple award winning Avatar from Delphi Alpacas, this boy can bring the genetics of his famous father to your herd. Avatar is no longer available for outside breedings, so this is a great way to claim this prestigious bloodline. Grayson is maturing into a handsome male and his histogram is very impressive. (click here to see the full report) Of course we'd love to keep him in our breeding program, but we will offer him for a limited time and ask to retain 3 breedings. He should be ready to breed in the fall of 2009. $7,000 - fertility guaranteed. |
Need a Get-Away?
Some friends of ours, Jody and Londa Palmer opened a charming inn in Lava Hot Springs, Idaho. Because they also own and love alpacas, guess what it's called? ...... the Alpaca Inn! What a charming place for you to escape for a few days! Yes, we were there and now we can highly recommend it! We think everyone should try to go there for a mini-vacation and so for the month of April, we will include a 2 night stay at the Alpaca Inn with any breeding stock purchased from Blue Moon Ranch! You can visit the web site for the Alpaca Inn at this link. Tell them Blue Moon sent you. For what it's worth, there is a quaint little bar and grill across the street called "The Blue Moon" .... really! |

Help Wanted
Why pay to go to the gym when you can get exercise right here and get paid to do it! We need some help for a few days of spring clean up. Yes that means moving bean piles and clearing the rest of "winter" out of the barns. Fresh air, sunshine and being around our adorable animals all free as an extra bonus. If this opportunity interests you , please contact Linda. Email preferred linda@bluemoonranch.net or phone 435-783-4428 and leave a message. |

Tip of the month
You don't need a toilet to need a toilet brush! A great barn helper - it will save your hands from scrubbing the water buckets, especially in cold weather! Clean feeding bowls and troughs - and buy one for a spare, since it somehow often becomes a dog toy! I have even used it to get some of the little bits of hay off a fleece as it walks by me. |
