If you have never tried this brand of skin lotion, then grab your coupon ($2.00 off!) and go try CeraVe.  I have very sensitive skin and use only fragrance free products and this one is the best!  It is also mild enough to use on babies and children who have dry skin issues or need extra moisturizer especially over the summer.

How to prevent Coupon Overload
Keeping your coupon inventory lean and mean is the key!

When you start using coupons, there is a honeymoon phase where the thrill of acquiring coupons that convert to real savings is intoxicating!  I have heard all the shrieks and shrills over saving big at the grocery store!  However, anyone who uses coupons regularly over time will eventually find their point of diminishing returns.   What I mean by this is the mental energy, time investment and overall management becomes ever increasing until you begin to feels like it is not worth doing.  This threshold will be different for every person so try not to compare yourself to others.  So, what do you do?  Well, below are a few tips that will help you stay steady, set better expectations so you may enjoy consistent savings and the fun that goes along with it.

- Stop clipping and/or saving coupons for things you never end up buying.  What this does is create a savings fantasy in your mind.  You think having lots of coupons equals having lots of savings when in reality, it equals having lots of coupon clutter!

- Don't be fooled by the word "clipless" coupon.  There is no such thing as paper clipless coupon!  The only true clipless coupon is the kind that is uploaded to a loyalty card or available for scanning off your cell phone.  "Clipless" is a term used when referring to saving coupon circulars and clipping the coupon only after you have identified you want to use it after seeing it in a coupon database.
(read last month's article - Honest Thoughts on Coupon Databases) When you save coupon circulars month after month, you still have to manage this inventory on top of the coupons you have clipped.  You still end up clipping coupons!  Even printable coupons off the Internet have to be clipped to take to the store.

- Expiration happens, but it is not the end of the world.  Simply keep your eyes out for new coupons.  Most major brands have massive promotion marketing budgets and keep the coupons coming week after week for your favorites items.  If you stock up when prices are low, you can make it through a period where you may not have any coupons for certain things.

- Get into the habit of going through your coupon inventory monthly to purge expired coupons.  My 9 year old daughter is good a spotting expired coupons and so it is officially her job to keep my Couponizer current!  This makes life so much easier when planning a trip to the grocery store or when I find a good deal in the store.

I find that accessing a few coupon circulars every week in addition to coupons that I find at the grocery store and receive in the mail are enough for me.  I plan meals, restock the household cleaning and laundry supplies and do my other shopping around the store deals and coupons.  It's that simple.  This way I am free to focus more of my time and energy on enjoying the food and other things I so cleverly acquired at a great price!

Our peach trees produced a bumper crop this month and after all the picking was done, we had hundreds of golfball sized peaches.  I came home from the grocery store one day to my husband and daughter peeling peaches and following directions on this website for how to bake a homemade peach pie (recipe and link to video is below in the Couponizer Cook section).  While the crust was pre-made, the rest was followed step by step and it was remarkable to watch my husband and daughter assemble a perfect lattice top peach pie!

I love my Couponizer!  I attended a coupon seminar in Alpharetta, GA and learned how to increase my savings.  My best shopping trip was about a month ago at Target.  I bought a purse, 2 men's Gillette deodorants, 2 men's Gillette Body Wash, 4 packs of Trident gum and 2 boxes of premium M & M's for 66 cents.   Yeah!

Everything I bought was on clearance and then I used coupons.  The purse was on clearance for $3.98 and I used a $5.00 target coupon.  The deodorant was $1.25 and the body wash was $1.52.  I had 2 coupons for buy deodorant and get body was free.  The gum was on clearance for $.06 and I had a coupon for buy 3 get $1.00 off.  The M & M's were on clearance for $.58 each (I think, can't remember for sure) but I did not have a coupon for them.
