Greetings!

amy soft edgeApril Greetings!

With the Easter and Passover holiday behind us, coupons will once again return.  For those of you who may not know this, coupons typically are not published in the Sunday paper on holiday weekends.  However they are very plentiful in the weekends before!  Right now, the stores are in clearance mode for Easter candy and accessories and now is a great time to stock up for next year!

Successful Couponizer Coach Stories

stephanieThe Couponizer was huge hit at the Southern Women's Show in Nashville this month!

Stephanie Anderson set up a booth much like I did 7 years ago and worked the crowd for 4 days straight.  She sold out of 2nd Edition Couponizers and then sold through all of her original version inventory as well.  I got see her in action as I joined her Friday evening and Saturday morning in the booth.  There was no sign of a recession at the show!  People, mostly women packed the Nashville Convention Center and were ready to shop!  We are proud of the hard work Stephanie put into this show!

TIP
Check Expiration Dates!
In a slow economy, this is something you need to do!

trashRecently I was driving home from a tennis match with a friend and she shared with me how she discovered that some food she had JUST bought had expiration dates that had passed!  Normally I do not check expiration dates all that much since I expect the food offered in the store to be well within the expiration date.  Then it happened to me!  I bought milk, I did not look at the expiration date and 2 days later it went sour.  I had indeed selected milk that had expired!

So, this is a reminder more than a tip.  With our current economy, many business owners have seen a decline in traffic through their stores.  This includes grocery stores, so it seems reasonable to think that some food items are sitting on shelves and in coolers longer than they used to.  To save the aggravation of having to go back in the store to get a replacement which most stores are happy to do, start checking expiration dates on perishable as well as non-perishable items these days!  Also, this will cut down on waste, at least that you have to deal with!

Springtime Online Savings

We stayed home this Spring break this year and by utilizing websites like the ones listed below, I saved over $75 in entertainment costs for my family!  I found some amazing and fun deals online by purposing to surf websites that offer local savings BEFORE making my decisions.

Judy's book has over a million nation-wide write-ups, reviews and ratings on local businesses to help you make informed purchase decisions.

For Atlanta area subscribers try:

aotcatlantaonthecheap.com
A blog posting every day or two that features a deal on an event or restaurant in the Atlanta area.  We used the FREE milkshake coupon from Steak N Shake which is now expired, but for a family of 5, this added up to $15 in yummy savings!
CarolCOUPONIZER of the month
Carol Trask
Oakland, ME

Dear Amy,
I received your Couponizer 8 days ago and I can't tell you how much I love it!!  I have bought just about every coupon organizer that has been on the market and your is by far the best.  In the 8 days since I received The Couponizer I have saved $64.95!

One day I bought $26.72 and saved $22.17.  Today, I had some coupons for cereal and I got 3 boxes and they gave me money back, only because I had my coupons organized in my Couponizer and didn't go pawing through a big box or large notebook, which half the time the coupons never fit and you have to spend so much time looking of coupons.  What a job!

Your Couponizer is so simple to use and so sturdy and it's worth every cent I paid for it.  I have paid for it 3 times over so far in 8 days!  The categories are excellent and you even tell what goes in each category which is a big help.  No more wondering where this or that goes.

I just can't tell you how simple and easy this is to use.  I wish I had know about this before.  I really enjoyed talking to you on the phone and congratulations on the Couponizer.  I LOVE IT!

Respectfully,
Carol Trask
P.S.  My husband Lionel is a believer also!!

Carol - It was a pleasure to talk with you too!  It is always a joy to hear from happy customers.  Keep up the great savings, it is always great to have a husband on your team! Thank you for writing to me.
