super target TIP - Print and Save!
Online coupons expire sooner, but you may print more than one!

Shopping for groceries at supercenters has the advantage of lower prices however these stores do not double coupons and the likelihood you will overspend here is greater since your choices are more than just groceries. I caught onto this when I realized it was possible to enter a store like Super Target for a few things and come out with $200 in stuff. These were my pre-Couponizer days!

Super Target is one supercenter that offers online coupons and post the weekly specials. This offers you more choices for items with the best prices and gives you the opportunity to plan your shopping according to what is on sale. This strategy works when it comes to saving big money if you are flexible with your weekly menus and brands. Also, when you find a great price on an item, you may stock up easily since printing more than one single product coupon is possible. You will notice these coupons have a one month expiration date, so print them while you can! And, try to shop only the grocery side of the store!!

    gas TOOL - MPG-Cap
Check out a product that can help increase fuel efficiency.

When gas prices rise to levels that cause real pocketbook pain, then we all get creative about ways to stretch our gas tank. Carpooling and driving less often are obvious ways to reduce fuel consumption, however there is a product on the market that claims to increase your miles per gallon. It is called the MPG-Cap.

MPG-Cap is a 100% organic engine conditioner that simultaneously improves fuel economy and power by creating a micro-thin coating on the combustion chamber in your engine allowing your fuel to burn more efficiently.

I am currently testing this product so I personally do not have a testimony yet, but if you click through the link below, you will find some positive results.

sanders The COUPONIZER of the Month
    Margaret Sanders - Summerville, SC

I just wanted to let you know that I am thrilled with The Couponizer! I saw you on QVC quite by accident and immediately went online with QVC and ordered it. I have been couponing for years and had yet to find a "perfect" system for my coupons. I have tried the binder method (way too big and bulky) and then a couple of years ago from a refunding site purchased a coupon file. I thought it would work great, but I felt awkward carrying a huge plastic coupon box into the grocery. And, trust me it was huge. So, you know what? I just didn't use it and went back to hand-carrying the coupons. I never had the right one with me at the right time and usually had a big mess. I received your Couponizer within a few days of ordering it from QVC and immediately used your method of clipping and arranging them. Yesterday was the first day I used your method and I saved $40 off a $100 tab on my grocery bill without any effort at all on my part. I especially love the pocket up front for the spot to place your coupons for checkout. I am THRILLED with your product! This fits easily in my purse or is easy to carry and use. The other coupon carrying ideas I've tried seem great until you try them and they are just not practical to carry or use. You've made it so easy and I'm thrilled!

Thanks for your awesome product! M. Sanders

    ask Ask Amy...
Tracking your spending and saving makes $en$e!

    Amy,
When you record your total bill in your CoupTracker, is it the amount you paid or the amount before the coupons? Some stores show your savings and some do not (they only show what the sale amount was) like Target. I want to do this the right way from the beginning. Food Lion deducts the amount of your coupon on the receipt for each item and it is already deducted on the final amount and then they show your savings at the end of your receipt.

This is hard to explain in writing and maybe I am making this difficult. Maybe I will have to add the amount I paid and the amount of the coupons for the amount to be shown on the CoupTracker? Please let me know which is the correct way to show this on the CoupTracker.

    Thank you, Gloria

    Gloria,
Great work for tracking your spending and savings on the CoupTracker. This simple tool is part of my system since it helped me polish my ability to monitor my spending. Also, adding up my monthly savings helped me to see how quickly the savings added up to significant amounts. This kept me motivated to continue using coupons to get the best prices and I hope it will do the same for you.

The "Amount" Column is the amount of your total bill. So this represents how much money you paid. At the end of the month this column total represents how much money you spent on groceries or any other category you set up for the page.

The "Savings" Column is the total amount that was deducted at checkout by redeeming coupons, store discounts, a gift card, a store club reward and/or any other amount. This column total represents the total amount of money you saved by taking time to organize and shop for deals.

Totaling the "Savings" column is much easier when the store receipt does it for you and most major grocery stores have this feature. However, in the event that each coupon deduction is only listed by the line item on the receipt, then total up the savings yourself. With a calculator, it does not take long and I suggest marking the total savings on the receipt if you save receipts.

I have figured out that smart families save money on the everyday things to have money to spend on the things they really want and need. Keep up the great work!

    Amy
