Our customers are finding us through their smartphones on the web and if they end up at your website, can they read it? Mobile websites are the way of the future. To keep WNUSA in the forefront of technology, we have created a .mobi site.
Go to our website: www.weddingnetworkusa.com, on your smartphone. You will be auto-directed to the new mobile site. Follow the instructions to install the app on your phone, and I suggest that when it shows you the computer generated name for the app of "Wedding Net", you change that to: WNUSA. Then install.
You will then have an app button featuring our logo with the title WNUSA below it. Hit the app button and see what we have created. We are working on creating live links to your websites as well, that will take a bit of time, but it is coming.
Any others ideas? Let me know if you think of something terrific. Our .mobi provider is an Affiliate Member with WNUSA, and has discounts to offer to you. Contact Maurice McDavid at mmcdavid@urmobe.com.

The Bellevue Club is the place to be on the Eastside
by Greg Lowder
The Bellevue Club really showed why they have been voted the best place to have an event on the Eastside when they hosted the September meeting of the Seattle Chapter of Wedding Network USA recently. Jill Parravano and her staff really outdid themselves and the newly renovated Olympic Ballroom looked amazing. Executive Chef Paul Marks put together an outstanding menu featuring appetizers of heirloom tomato crostini with goat cheese & fresh basil and my personal favorite a Taro chip with a shrimp and crab Asian salad. The salad was butter lettuce with fennel fronds, lemon zest, gorgonzola dulce cheese and pink peppercorn vinaigrette. Our main course was herb crusted salmon, Yakima bing cherry barbeque sauce, roasted fingerling potatoes and broccoli. I have had salmon three hundred and twenty-seven different ways but never with a barbeque sauce, it was really really good. For dessert we had cayenne scented truffle cake with quantro whipped cream and fresh berries. Yummy!
This was an educational meeting and boy did we get educated! Matt Heinz from Heinz Marketing spoke about social media and its impact on what we do and then led us in a lively discussion about building your business. Matt had presents for us and you can access them below. Thanks to everyone that came out, you can check on the amazing pictures from Anna of BlueWing Photos on our Chapter Facebook page. It was a good night.
