Small Business week is over :-(

But it was a great week and for this weekend's Social Media 101, I'm sharing some info from the Constant Contact Get Down to Business 2012 Event held last week here in Atlanta and all over the U.S.A.!

I was happy to be asked to conduct a Twitter Workshop for Small Business and Non-Profits. Twitter is so misunderstood and undervalued as a powerful marketing platform. Attendees were hungry for Twitter knowledge and I thoroughly enjoyed their questions and comments. Small Biz people are awesome!

As promised to the workshop attendees, below are some great links to get you on the road to success with Social Media. I am sure these will also be helpful for those of you who did not attend the workshop.

There are so many tweetchats you are bound to find one or two that interest you. I had promised a Google Shared Spreadsheet but it has been taken down - temporarily I hope! I'll keep on this and make sure I share what I find in the next newsletter!

If you try to participate in a Tweetchat using Twitter, be prepared to work way too hard.
You can use a # search column in Hootsuite or Tweetdeck, but even better is to use a tool specifically designed for chats.

For example, Tweetchat will insert the hashtag for you tweet for you with each post and of course, include your handle. If you aren't comfortable jumping in yet, it's ok to lurk... :)
