This month the focus continues to be on Constant Contact Email Newsletters and Social Media.

Some of you are a bit wary of fully utilizing your connections, so I want to share a little info about growing your contact / networking lists...

As you know, Constant Contact is a permission based email marketing service.

You cannot use a purchased list, BUT you are allowed to consider anyone who has personally or professionally connected to you as a contact.  In other words, if they emailed or connected with you, you can use their email address in your lists.

For example, I have just exported my LinkedIn Connections and imported them to my newsletter contact list. I removed any I thought would not like to receive my weekly Social Media tips, but still anyone can opt out with the 1-click unsubscribe.
