Twin Oaks Christian Church is a grace-driven, growing church of 800 on the southern edge of the Detroit metro area. Woodhaven is a nice suburb with good schools and affordable housing.

We have an exciting opportunity for someone with a vision that aligns with ours and we will provide the tools for him to pursue it. We currently run 35-50 kids each week between the middle school and high school groups, but there is great opportunity for growth in every area with many of our church youth not yet plugged in to the youth program and thousands of unconnected kids within 3 miles. The eldership and staff value youth ministry and will provide the support that you will need to grow this ministry with a "hands off attitude".

The youth group currently meets in our gym/worship center but we hope to build a $1 million youth center in the not too distant future. We attend MOVE in Holland, MI and Believe in Cincinnati. The youth have done a missions trip in Honduras and there is an all ages trip to Rapha House in Cambodia each year as well as other missions trips. This is a great opportunity for a sports fan as the Lions, Tigers, Red Wings, and Pistons are local and there are good theatres, museums, and more in the Metro Detroit area to experience.

There is a solid youth pastor network in the southern suburbs (our drawing area has around 500,000 people) and they cooperate on joint worship and outreaches a few times a year.
