ORGANIZATION: Ciudad de Ángeles is a Christian children's home on the island of Cozumel, just off the Yucatán peninsula of Mexico. The mission is affiliated with the churches of Christ but is an independent nonprofit. The orphanage celebrates ten years of operation in 2012. The American Director assures that the integrated mission and goals of the children's home are met. Primarily, the American Director works with the Mexican Director and staff in Mexico so the children at the home receive the physical, emotional, spiritual, social, and academic support that they require to grow into Christian adults. The Director implements strategies, as agreed upon by the President and the Board of Directors, to result in the long-term success of the organization.
