The church has identified a need for reaching out to young families in the Milton-Freewater area. We seek a pastor whose focus will be on building programs and ministries centered on the younger generations. The church believes that a significant part of attracting young families into the congregation will include innovative and sustainable programs. An equally important component of connecting with this demographic will include time spent outside of the church setting.
Qualifications and Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Christian Ministry or related field
- A personal and maturing relationship with Christ
- Preference given to candidates with:
- 2+ years experience in church-related ministry
- Musical ability
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
Character Issues: Candidates recognize their spiritual leadership position in relation to the congregation of the church. As such they will conduct themselves as befitting a position as a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He/She shall perform the duties of Family Ministries Pastor and such duties that lend mutual support to the ministry staff.
Time Allocation: (EXAMPLE)
Children - 15 hrs/wk
Young Families - 10 hrs/wk
Youth - 10 hrs/wk
Young Adults - 5 hrs/wk

Associate Minister of Worship & Youth

Blooming Grove Christian Church is seeking a full-time associate minister to fill a dual role in our church family.
Located in a beautiful, rural setting, The Grove has a long history with roots that reach deep into the community. Drawing from various nearby towns, our average weekly attendance of roughly 100 believers includes a wonderful mix of young and old, with nearly a third of our congregation made up of children and teens.
We are looking to incorporate an associate minister to work alongside our senior pastor, whose primary responsibilities will be leading worship and leading our youth program.
