Chamber Member Sean Snyder Finalist in Two Canada Post Innovation Awards: Over the last several months our team has been working on a new line of business called Trend Trunk. Trend Trunk is a trusted social marketplace which allows consumers to buy, sell or donate their fashionable and pre-loved clothing & accessories. We've built a very unique marketplace platform that combines a social experience, with a simplified buying and selling process, right from posting an item, payment processing and managing the shipment between the buyer and seller. The BIG news is that we're a finalist for not one, but two Canada Post Innovation Awards; Best Online Retailer of the Year- Small Business and Best New E-Business. Details of the press release are here. There's also a voting component where the public can vote for Consumer Champion where we are amongst some very well-known companies (P.S. would love your vote, and you can vote more than once!) Not only is this is a big accomplishment for us, since Trend Trunk is only 2.5 months old, but also I think a great opportunity to showcase innovation in Hamilton, since we are the only #HamOnt company in the running! |
