Hamilton Centre for Civic Inclusion's annual Report to the Community Breakfast

The Hamilton Chamber is proud to support HCCI's annual event. Diversity matters...and there's no better way to reconnect with the issues and rekindle your enthusiasm than to attend Hamilton Centre for Civic Inclusion's annual Report to the Community Breakfast, taking place Monday June 12, 2012, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Hamilton Convention Centre. This year's event will feature guest speaker Alan Broadbent, one of Canada's top immigrant supporters and philanthropists, who will be speaking on the role of organizations, including the private sector, in creating an inclusive community. Alan is chairman and CEO of the Avana Capital Corporation, an organization that initiates and funds civic engagement projects. He is also chairman of The Maytree Foundation, the Caledon Institute of Social Policy and Tamarack, and has played an important role in many other progressive organizations and projects. His book, Urban Nation: Why we Need to Give Power Back to the Cities to Make Canada Strong, was published in 2008. To order your tickets, please contact HCCI's office at (905) 297-4694 or email adavis@hcci.ca. You can also register online at www.hcci-agm.eventbrite.com.
