Event Proposals Request

The Chamber is asking members who would like to create or host an event between February and June of this year, to submit their proposal (1-2 pages) by Friday January 27 to Jo-Ann Orth at j.orth@hamiltonchamber.on.caLater in the spring, we will ask for another round of proposals for the second half of 2012.

Members can submit event ideas under two categories: first category: the Chamber is looking for speakers to participate in the new upcoming "Coffee with the CEO" sessions.  For these sessions, we are asking members for a brief presentation (15 minutes plus 10 minute Q&A).  The "Coffee with the CEO" sessions will take place on the second Friday of the month beginning in February.  The second category is for members who would like to host a seminar or workshop - we are looking for sessions that may be collaborative in nature (ex. More than one member coming together to create the event).  Please keep in mind time and cost when putting together your proposal.  Members are looking for brief seminars and workshops (ex. 90 minutes to 2 hours) and well-priced sessions.
