Final Rule: Amendment to the National List for Livestock | |
The National Organic Program published a final rule in the Federal Register today that establishes exemptions (uses) for two substances in organic livestock production. Effective March 16, 2012, the National List will be amended by allowing the following substances as emergency treatment for dairy and breeder stock when approved preventive management fails to prevent parasite infestation:
