The National Organic Program published a final rule in the Federal Register today to amend the crops and processing portions of the National List. Effective March 15, 2012, these amendments affect the following substances:

  • Microcrystalline cheesewax
  • Acidified sodium chlorite
  • Non-organic dried orange pulp
  • Non-organic Pacific kombu seaweed
  • Bleached, non-organic lecithin
