Greetings!

The National Organic Program has revised the NOP 2000 General Accreditation Policies and Procedures. The updated instruction document has replaced the previous version in the Program Handbook.

NOP 2000 General Accreditation Policies and Procedures
Notable changes to the revised NOP 2000 General Accreditation Policies and Procedures include additional information about the assessment schedule for certifying agents; information about selection criteria for onsite assessments; and description of assessment types and the USDA party responsible for conducting the assessments. The revised instructions also incorporate NOP 2004 How to Apply for Accreditation Procedures.

See the Program Handbook for the full document.
