Tampa, FL -- For more than 50 years, health problems stemming from building-related biological and non-biological materials have been on the rise, yet indoor air quality professionals and consumers have lacked a starting point by which to compare bacterial and fungal bioaerosol results in a presently unregulated industry. Until now.

"To date, the industry, both private and public, has not been able to establish a basis by which to measure the baseline conditions for indoor airborne bacteria and fungi," said Alan Wozniak, president and CEO of Pure Air Control Services.

TITUSVILLE, Fla. - Titusville city leaders said a mold problem at the police department will now cost the city $600,000 to clean up.

WFTV reported in October when officials discovered the mold at the headquarters on John Glenn Boulevard. There's now mold in 42 rooms at the department.

City leaders said peeling back the vinyl wallpaper at the Titusville police station was like peeling back an onion. Crews kept finding more mold and more problems.

"Discovered there were windows not properly secured, valves that were leaking, plumbing issues," City Manager Mark Ryan said.

The popular hair treatments has had incredible success in the past couple years, promising straight and manageable hair for up to twelve weeks.

It is green, brown, black and may make you sick.

It's in corners, on walls, even beneath the glass of framed pictures.

We're not the only ones. Last July, the Atlantic City Health Department, acting on an anonymous complaint, found what health inspectors thought was "possible mold-fungal growth ranging from moderate to heavy amounts" in housekeeping closets.
