PureLiner Panel 300x250\Web Ads 300x250 Panel-13Health and Wellness News (WooEB)

As the economy slows down and HVAC maintenance becomes deferred, the concern has risen over the 5 million commercial buildings in the U.S. covering over 80 billion sq ft of floor space including over 25 million commercial systems in operation today. Where air conditioning units are present, it is important to professionally clean and sterilize the coils of the units annually to remove grime and oils that can act as incubation sites for Legionnaire's Disease. She claims that she was given an eviction notice from the apartment after a complaint was made to the federal government about the mold in the government-subsidized unit.

Allergies Increase, Scientists Scratch Their Heads

by Rachael Rettner, MyHealthNewsDaily Staff Writer

PACS Panel 300x250\Web Ads 300x250 Panel-23The findings confirm previous research that has shown allergies in the United States are on the rise and provide more evidence to suggest global climate change may partly explain the hike, the researchers say. Both ragweed and mold are environmental allergens that may be influenced by changing global temperatures.

"We believe this is the first large national study to show that the growing prevalence of allergies, suggested by other studies, is largely due to increases in environment-based allergens previously associated with climate change," said Dr. Stanley J. Naides, medical director of immunology at Quest Diagnostics, the diagnostic testing company that conducted the study.
