Congratulations to Judith Smithen-Berry!
Ms. Judith Smithen- Berry was nominated and selected for a Legacy of Service Award for the 2nd quarter of FY12. Here is an excerpt from the nomination submitted:
"... I would like to nominate Judith for providing excellent customer service. I have dealt with her on many occasions at Student Services. She has always been polite and respectful every time I speak with her. She is always upbeat, fun to talk to and is a wealth of information. Any time I have a question about the island or need help with a problem or concern she always knows who can help. Judith has gone out of her way to make phone calls to see if the person I need to speak with is available and by doing so, Judith has saved me many trips up the steps..." Well done Judith, keep up the great work!
If you know someone in the who goes above and beyond in customer service, complete a hard copy or electronically submit a nomination form and submit to the Human Resources Department.
As part of an educational session, the students of the Seventh Day Adventist School celebrated their 100th day of learning with a march through the streets of Basseterre on February 17. For this exercise the students were required to be outfitted in the work attire of their career choice. Jahniqua Esdaille, age eight, has always been fascinated with animals and wants desperately to become a veterinarian when she grows up. Supporting her career goal in veterinary medicine, RUSVM sponsored the application of the RUSVM logo to be adorned on her lab coat. Esdaille looked adorable as she marched with her family pet, who posed as one of her prospective patients. She also distributed RUSVM brochures to onlookers as she marched. Great job, Jahniqua!
