French Healthcare Seems Pretty Holistic To Me!
Holistic medicine is above all a recognition of the importance of addressing mind, body and spirit in the creation and maintenance of good health. As I was in Paris last month, and in looking at the French system of healthcare, I was struck by how much more holistic their system is than ours.

The University of Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine is now accepting applications for the elective rotation. This dynamic, four-week rotation gives residents and fourth-year medical students from across the country in-depth exposure to integrative medicine. The coursework is both didactic and experiential, allowing students to expand their knowledge in areas such as botanicals, nutrition, traditional Chinese medicine, osteopathy, and energy medicine. AHMA endorses the American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine Board Exam as a way of enhancing the overall standing and practice of holistic medicine for our members and patients. Although the exam is only open to MDs and DOs, all practitioners are welcome to participate in the review course and earn educational credits. AHMA doesn't have chapters in every state, however, we want to help you connect with like-minded professionals whenever and wherever possible. So please, help us help you.
