September 19-22 Seeking an Integrated Reality Located in Crookston, MN, this unique event will explore the different facets of our existence to understand how they contribute to our intertwined reality. Our time together will be comprised of talks, workshops, experiences of healthy practices.

 Dear Members of the Minnesota Holistic Medicine Group,
There was a lot of enthusiasm for the May 12 program regarding which type of diet might be best for our patients (and for ourselves). Our usual number of attendees has been about 70 or 80, but Saturday morning brought out a crowd of 112 participants. Wow, food and nutrition are getting the attention they deserve, I guess.
Our next gathering/meeting will take place Sept. 19-22 in Crookston, MN. It begins on Wednesday evening, September 19, and ends Saturday noon, September 22. For those interested in attending and riding together, I will be keeping a list of those from this area wishing to attend so we can car-pool. Think of all the good conversation that can occur in a 5 or 6 hour drive to and from Crookston (since it is 300 miles from the Twin Cities). Let me know if you want to drive up there with others from the Twin Cities area.

Summary of the 58th Minnesota Holistic Medicine

 The Minnesota Holistic Medicine Group met at the Carondelet Center in St. Paul on May 12, 2012. There were 112 attendees present. The topic for the day was, "Which Type of Diet is Best for Our Patients?" Because of time constraints, there was not time for the usual one hour of introductions.

For those who were at the last meeting, this article continues the discussion of a paleo diet versus a vegan diet. Various experts take on topics from their "Daily Menu," "Eating Grains," and "Processed Foods" based on each perspective.

MetroDoctors May-June Issue Features AHMA Members
Twin Cities Medical Association's publication MetroDoctors recently featured articles and interviews by several Minnesota AHMA members.
