Digital Offers Were Fastest-Growing Coupon Category in 2010

 

Over $1.2 billion in digital coupon savings were issued in 2010, according to Coupons.com. The savings were the key statistic in the company's Digital Coupons Trends Report which followed recent research demonstrating coupon that distribution in the U.S. increased 6.8% in 2010 and that more coupons were distributed during the year than ever before.

 

As the largest digital coupon network on the Web, comprised of Coupons.com as well as thousands of independent partners, the Coupons.com network is representative of the digital coupon industry overall.

 

The Trend Report indicates that more than $1.2 billion in digital coupons savings was issued in 2010, representing a 41% growth over the year before...

Call for Speakers

 

LEAD                                                                                                                          The LEAD Marketing Conference, to be held in Rosemont (Chicago) IL this coming Sept. 19-21, is seeking dynamic industry speakers for its third annual conference.

 

The LEAD Marketing Conference is produced by the Shopper Technology Institute. It is the first collaborative conference to focus on understanding and leveraging the many effective and emerging technologies which are crucial to attracting and maintaining shoppers, as well as providing much-needed differentiation in today's competitive marketplace.  


The event is geared to all channels of retailing including Supermarkets, Drug, Dollar Store, Mass and Discount, Convenience Stores, Specialty Stores and Department Stores, plus Manufacturers supplying these channels.  LEAD is the industry's most comprehensive event focusing on all aspects of Loyalty, Engagement, Analytics and Digital applications.

 

With an emphasis on case studies and practical applications of shopper technology, LEAD is looking for both keynote and breakout track speakers. Sessions are 45-60 minutes in length.   • Proposed speaker name, job title, and company name
