Sarah's Musings...Strictly Smiling
Hello Fellow Cheese Lovers. I hope all is well with you and you are enjoying the sun when it chooses to
shine and the leaves on the trees as they start to change colour. Without the Olympics to focus on I have found my attention
being drawn to Strictly Come Dancing, I know it’s really a pantomime but I just love it when a contestant
surprises me in a positive way and it is always those who smile and appear to be really enjoying what they are doing.
A smile costs nothing and can really change how you feel and how other people see and feel about
you. So whatever is happening in the wider world, if you look hard enough, there will always be something to smile about.
Money Raised for Chestnut Tree House
Thank you to all of you who came to see us on Hove Lawns for the Sussex Cheese Bowling Championship, the sun
shone, a wonderful time was had by all and thanks to the generosity of the participants and to Peter Allan, who kindly
donated his wages for that day, we were able to donate £364 to Chestnut Tree House.
A Famous Fan
Mark and I had a wonderful surprise when we were at Lewes Farmers’ Market on Saturday, not only did we see so
many of you lovely people who buy our cheese on a regular basis, we saw Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall of River
Cottage fame who, as he was in Lewes, chose to visit the wonderful Farmers’ Market there and he admitted to be a fan of our
halloumi cheese.
For once I was lost for words and just managed to say.. ’It is you...isn’t it?
