Greetings!
This month's market activity report is in line with last month, the data continues to be mixed in the towns we service. See our Market Action Reports for the details.
Buyers continue to stay in command of the market motivated by affordability. They tend to believe this environment will continue for some time into the future, taking away their urgency to move forward and make offers.
The market continues to have pockets where inventory is needed; in those categories we are experiencing multiple offers. Strangely, we are still seeing sellers push the higher end of their range and some properties are coming on too high.
A very encouraging variable not seen for the past 36 months is the "Builder". In all price categories they are coming back into the market, actively looking for good opportunities. Lastly, mortgage rates continue to stay at historic lows.
A good way to get a sense of the market is to visit one of the Coldwell Banker open houses, there are 17 in our towns this Sunday, for homes ranging from $306,000 to $3,795,000.
