Now that October's tricks (Nor-east storm) and Halloween treats are behind us we can look forward to a time of gathering with friends and family and giving thanks; Thanksgiving is quickly approaching.
As we approach the end of the year here's how the towns we cover are doing in terms of YTD unit sales vs. last year: Westport +1.3%; Weston -10.1%; Wilton +9.4%; Fairfield -11.1%; Norwalk -13.6%.
It's hard to believe but mortgage rates have gone even lower, the 30-year rate fell to an average 3.99% for the week, down from 4% last week and 4.17% a year ago, according to Freddie Mac.
This Sunday, Coldwell Banker is again sponsoring a " Fall in Love with the American Dream" event. The October event had over 1,000 open houses and drew almost 5,000 visitors! Here is a list of local open houses by town.
We will be hosting two special properties; an Enchanting Cape and a Gem in the University Area of Fairfield. If you happen to be in the neighborhood, stop by and say hello.
