We hope you are enjoying Fall. Now that the cool weather has arrived you should be picking out your pumpkin and getting ready for Halloween.
The local real estate market is a mixed bag, YTD unit sales are up in Westport and Wilton, down in Weston, Norwalk and Fairfield. Median prices up in Fairfield, Weston, Wilton, down in Westport, Norwalk. Days on Market was down only in Fairfield. The only data point consistent with all our towns is that the fall market is under way at a slower pace than our more robust spring/summer, that being said we are seeing sales performance similar to the previous year.
This weekend Coldwell Banker is sponsoring a "Fall in Love with the American Dream" event (video) encouraging home buyers and sellers with over 800 open houses in CT and Westchester, including 70+ in the towns we cover. Here is a list of local open houses by town.
We will be hosting three great properties; a Classic Colonial within walking distance of the Westport train station, a Cape on pond setting in Fairfield and a Gem in the University Area of Fairfield. If you happen to be in the neighborhood, stop by and say hello.
