Venture capitalist targets biotech sector Venture capitalist has ambitious goal to assemble a $200-million biotechnology and life sciences fund that invests in both stellar university research as well as burgeoning companies in industrial chemicals, agricultural biotechnology, life sciences and biofuels. First test-tube hamburger ready this fall: researchers Project is funded with 250,000 euros from an anonymous private investor motivated by "care for the environment, food for the world, and interest in life-transforming technologies."
