75% Energy Saving, Lasts 5 Times Longer
The owners of the Shell Convenience Store and Gas Station in Wyoming, Minnesota, after years of using the expensive T12 light bulbs, that needed to be replaced about every 18 months, in their cooler and freezer doors decided that it was time to upgrade to something new that would save them energy and reduce maintenance costs.
That's where Premier Lighting comes into the story. After conducting an analysis of their facility it was determined that converting the current T12 fluorescent system in the coolers and freezers with a new Freezer/Cooler LED lighting system from Sylvania would provide significant advantages. The new LED lighting conversion saved the customer over 75% in energy costs, provided a lighting system that will last 5 times longer, has a more aesthetically pleasing look to the cooler/freezer doors, received a rebate from Xcel Energy with a payback of less than 4 years!
