Elizabeth McGlynn to Sponsor Teens in Action Award

Miss America's Outstanding Teen is pleased to announce Elizabeth McGlynn of Professional Pageant Preparation, LLC, as the sponsor of the 2012 Teens in Action Scholarship award.   

McGylnn, the owner of Professional Pageant Preparation, LLC, will be sponsoring the $500 scholarship award, which will be awarded to a contestant based on her platform.  Each contestant is required to submit essay explaining her platform, why it's important to her, and how she plans to incorporate it in her community.  

"I am excited to continue my partnership with the MAOTeen Organization. I believe in encouraging young women to see the possibilities within themselves and to have the confidence and persistence to reach for their goals. These truly are our leaders of tomorrow representing the best and the brightest of young women today," said McGlynn.  

McGlynn will also be teaching an interview and platform development workshop at the 2012 Teens in Training Camp.  McGlynn's workshop will help prepare teens for an interview and give them the tools necessary to create their platforms and implement them in their own communities.
